Slating

We use a variety of slates, including natural and man-made slate. Natural slates are graded best class T1.

We work extensively with sorted reclaimed Welsh, Spanish and Westmorland Slates, for roofs that required new natural slates only the best quality T1 slate will be used. From re-roofing, new extensions and new build houses to stately homes, our teams work to all current codes of practice and in accordance with the National Federation of Roofing Contractors regulations. We have consistently won awards for our Heritage work of which we are extremely proud.

On projects that require a “slate look”, artificial slates can be chosen to give a character roof without the cost of natural slate.We supply and install all of the major manufacturers products.

All slates are sourced from a wide area including Wales, Central and Northern England, Spain and Canada.

A full sample service is provided for the client so that a better informed choice can be made.
