Clarke Roofing entered into a joint venture with the Trustees to develop an unused farm building into sustainable eco homes.
Under the permitted development permission there were strict guidelines to adhere to. The building was highly insulated, has underfloor heating, a sedum green roof and is clad in larch wood. The brief was to construct homes with visual sympathy to the rural setting. Externally the land was planted with trees and indigenous hedges with a chestnut post and rail border.
