Working in conjunction with East Sussex and the Frankham Consultancy.

The existing roof and vertical tiling was failing resulting in roof leaks and falling tiles resulting in a considerable risk to the public using the shopping area below.

The scaffold had to be a designed, fully enclosed scaffold due to the difficult nature and location of the works.

The spire was re-tiled with lead soakers interleaved between canes.

To each corner of the hexagonal roof, new code 6 hoppers were formed on a new timber support structure.

The ridge line was designed to slope resulting in twelve running out courses on each side of the ridge.

Airtrak ventilation was used to the open cut valleys along with tile vents to complete the ventilation to the attic area.

Brick bird nest boxes were installed to the brick tower support.

The clock was repaired and is now in working order.

Electrics were upgraded and water damaged ceilings replaced.

All structural steel was prepared and redecorated.
