The existing asphalt roof was in a poor condition with water coming through in various locations. A number of Georgian wire glass panels were broken and needed renewal.
The water ingress was causing problems on the theatre stage below and Clarke Roofing were tasked with stopping the water ingress.
Our team of installers removed the existing promenade tiles and prepared the existing asphalt covering.
We then installed 2 layers of Soprema high performance felt to the flat roof and created a new designated walkway with Rubbertech tiles.
New glass panels were installed into the existing metal bars to ensure no water could penetrate the building.
